Torrestir Recognised by Michelin for Sustainable Tyre Management
Sustainability is increasingly becoming an integral part of how the Torrestir Group manages and develops its operations. In 2025, this commitment was once again recognised by Michelin through the “Sustainable Tyre Management” distinction.
The recognition highlights the work carried out to ensure the efficient and sustainable management of the fleet’s tyres, contributing to reducing the environmental impact associated with transport operations.
693.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided
Throughout 2025, the sustainable tyre management practices implemented by Torrestir helped avoid the emission of 693.5 tonnes of CO₂.
In addition to reducing carbon emissions, these practices also resulted in savings of 204.4 tonnes of raw materials, demonstrating how more efficient resource management can deliver tangible environmental benefits.
These results highlight the importance of integrating sustainability into everyday decision-making and continuously seeking solutions that make operations more efficient.
Sustainability in our operations
In the transport and logistics sector, where every kilometre has an impact, efficient resource management plays a key role.
The responsible use of tyres contributes not only to greater operational efficiency, but also to reducing the consumption of raw materials and the emissions associated with transport activities.
For the Torrestir Group, this is an ongoing journey focused on continuously assessing processes, optimising resources and adopting practices that contribute to more sustainable operations.
A commitment to Carbon Neutrality
Carbon Neutrality is a commitment undertaken by the Torrestir Group and forms part of a long-term vision focused on progressively reducing the environmental footprint of its operations.
The distinction awarded by Michelin therefore represents more than recognition. It is also an incentive to continue developing solutions and practices that reduce environmental impact and promote increasingly efficient use of resources.
In a sector where thousands of kilometres are travelled every day, every improvement matters.
Torrestir will continue working towards making its operations more efficient, responsible and sustainable, contributing to a future with an increasingly smaller environmental footprint.
Sustainable tyre management: because every kilometre matters
Sustainability is built through concrete decisions. Sustainable tyre management is one example of how resource optimisation can help reduce emissions, preserve raw materials and make transport operations more efficient.
At Torrestir, we remain committed to moving forward on this journey.
Greater efficiency. Lower impact. A more sustainable future.
